A Sagan is a being from the planet Sage. (Or any of its moons, Parsley,
Rosemary and Thyme.)
I have been assured that Professor Sagan is a real person and has, in fact,
shown up in person at anti-nuke rallies. I still have to wonder about that
name, though, and the role he plays for Parade. Any scientific world view
that empties space and declares the universe dead, however, seems not only
to ignore Reich's important work but flies in the face of common sense. I
wonder if Sagan ever ponders the connection between his mechanistic world
view and his political sympathies.
On a related note: I recently returned from a flight to San Francisco and
flying into and out of the airport, just before landing and just after take
off, I saw an excitation of the orgone, those little floaters in the
eyeball's sclera that traditional science attributes to too much salt in the
diet. You can see them anytime by concentrating, but on these two occasions
I could not ignore them if I concentrated. Does anyone here have any
experience with this? At the very least it put the lie to the salt theory,
since there were no changes in my diet.

...and if there were, Sagan wouldn't be one of them, since he seems never
inclined to follow Reich's scientific protocols before shining on Reich's
conclusions...
