I should mention that EIDOS just published an article that characterized
many people in orgonomy as being part of a right-wing Knights of Malta plot.
I've sent her my critical response to that, and she is also inviting anyone
with an interest to write a point-by-point response (which doesn't seem
worth the effort). While EIDOS does look a bit like the "singles" newspapers
found in vending boxes next to the daily newspaper in Las Vegas, it does not
meet my definition of pornography. Pornography tends to be a one-way, "buy
me" message; EIDOS aspires to be a means of communication for people--the
miserable, if you wish-- who feel oppressed by mainstream sexual mores and
want to discuss alternatives. Tatelbaum can't be feeding too deeply on all
that misery or peddling all that much liberation; she hacks a cab to help
pay the rent. She also is now risking a jail sentence to protect models from
having to register their names (unfortunately she was not as protective of
the privacy of people mentioned in the orgonomy article).

Do you have other background information that would change my description of
EIDOS?
