Hi Nick and others,
I should note that it would be grand to use a scanner to publish Reich's
work on the internet. However one must be aware that there are copyrights
on this material owned by the Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust Fund (WRITF)in
Rangeley, Maine. Pore will "not" infringe on the copyrights of Wilhelm
Reich. Wilhelm Reich willed all rights to the WRITF and the monies and
royalties are used to publish his material, maintain his estate, run and
operate the museum, and help run workshops there in Rangeley. Many their is
not enough done by the WRITF which may be true but we are not in their
shoes. I have been told that the sale of his books has dropped in the USA
but may be up in Europe. It would be fine to publish them on the internet
as long as permission is sought and given by the WRITF. Mary Boyd Higgins
is the present trustee of the WRITF and can be reached at PO Box 687
Rangeley, Maine 04970 USA. There is more to be found about the museum and
its bookstore courtesy of PORE at
"http://www.mainelink.net/~pore/wrmuseum".
It is certainly ok to publish writings by others concerning orgonomy with
the writers permission. This is our policy at PORE. I hope I haven't
ruffled anyone's feathers by making these remarks but I felt it necessary
to speak up since the monies earned by writers in the world pales to
compare to the amount of work they put into writing.
