Do you mean it wasn't autoclaved, or that it wasn't gram-stained? Staining kills
everything.
On Kirilian photography, a good book is *The Body Electric* by Thelma Moss (St.
Martin's/Tarcher 1979, out-of-print). Moss describes how Eva Reich suggested
getting rid of the electricity in Kirilian photos. Moss placed vegetables on
film and covered them with a orgone blanket. Then she shut them up in a
light-tight box for several days. When the photos were developed, they showed
similar "auras" as regular Kirilian photos.
Moss also noted how the glass on top of the copper plate (used in regular
Kirilian photography) is essentially and orgone accumulator panel.
