There was an actual speech by Chief Seattle along those lines.  However, 
no one wrote it down until something like 40 years later.  So, there is 
some question as to what was actually said.  The text posted here is 
not that version, tho.  This one was a version written for a TV documentary, 
according to a source on a different list.
