Regarding Holly's paper on electrostatic fields and orgone, I found it
provocate. I don't have enough scientific background to digest it quickly, but I
would like to ask what you meant by "If indeed they are synonymous, then
orgonomists must utilize the wisdom of Tesla, Van de Graaff, Franklin, etc.
in the construction of accumulators."
How do you see the work of these scientist in relation to Reich? (I do see the
connections, but want you to expand on that. Who is Van de Graff?)
I've been reading Beyond Psychology where I came across a lot of material there
on "bio-electricity". If science can't say what electricity really is, how does
it help us to consider orgone as a form of electricity?
I was impressed by Becker's book, clearly his research is related.
Joe Blankenship, who knew Reich while he was in Tucson, says that WR was very
interested in magnetite: iron oxide crystals. Weakly magnetic, giving off what
you might call a static charge.10 gauss? The "sand bion" pads/poultices made
with these black iron crystals feel cool and good, although not like orgone
blankets. Almost like medical dor-busters. According to Joe, Reich started
making ORACs with alternating layers of iron oxide and quartz silicate.
