I guess if Mr. Carlinsky's intent was to disrupt the OML and agitate it's
members he has succeeded, hopefully beyond his expectations.

Mr. Gallileoll wrote;  Without personally attacking anybody, Joel Carlinsky
makes some astute
observations on the work of someone who apparently has been able to generate
considerable financial and emotional support by a certain segment of the
community for his alleged continuation of Reich's work.

I gather that you are not a proponent of Dr. DeMeo. That is certainly your
prerogative. However, Carlinsky says;

1. Dr. DeMeo's obsessive
compulsion to convert unbelievers and his need to gather statistics has
resulted in devastation to ecosystems and the deaths of numerous people due
to storms, floods, and freezing weather.
2. By establishing a permanent drought abatement facility in
Namibia, DeMeo has caused irreparable harm to the global environment.  He
simply doesn't know-or care-anything about ecology.
3. DeMeo has also done cloudbusting operations in the Middle East.  I have
documentation in my files showing numerous deaths of people in the region as
a result of catastrophic weather he caused.
4. reckless and irresponsible misuse of Reich's discoveries and incompetent and
misguided efforts to "prove Reich right" are causing serious ecological
damage.

That sounds to me like a personal attack and it is an attack with little or
no substantiation in my opinion. Where is the proof? If it's in Carlinsky's
files why not print up some of it? Devastation of ecosystems and the deaths
of numerous people? Simply doesn't know-or-care anything about ecology? I
see a lot of opinion here but nothing to back it up. Drought in Africa is
good cause it supplies minerals for Brazil? I am humbled by Mr. Carlinsky's
expertise, but I can't take him seriously because he has not documented his
claims. He has made a very convincing argument but one just as convincing
but no more substantive than the arguments for a heterosexual aids epidemic,
or for black helicopters being the preliminary for a United Nations invasion
of the United States, or for the "Magic Bullet Theory" for that matter.

Carlinsky's article sounds to me like one of those clever attacks where the
victim is put in a position that is nearly impossible to defend, and the
attacker makes allegations that are very difficult to prove or disprove.
These attacks are regularly used against conspiracy researchers, and
investigative journalists. Apparently Mr. Carlinsky has been doing this and
worse to certain members of the Orgonomic community for years. Unfortunately
some of these members react with such vehemence and anger that they take on
many of the attributes of an irrational character structure and in doing so
play right into the hands of Mr. Carlinsky.  Sometimes they react with such
vehemence and anger that they wind up hurting and alienating people who were
supportive of them and Orgonomy. Sort of like what happened to Wilhelm Reich
in the last days when he thought his own daughter had betrayed him and he
accused her. He was wrong and I'm sure he hurt her plenty and needlessly. 

I hope we are not induced to do the same to each other.
