Hi Chris,
I just wanted to point out a common misconception. The United States of
America is not a democracy. The United States of America is a constitutional
republic. If it wasn't, all our rights would have been gone long ago.
Freedom of speech and press is guaranteed by an amendment (the first) that
requires far more than a majority to change.
A lynch mob can be considered a democracy.
