The Orgone energy functions that grew into cloudbusting started when
Reich was out on Rangeley Lake one afternoon, and noticed that some of the
little wavelets atop the lake surface were pointing towards the shore where
a bunch of pipes were stacked. One end of the pipes was open towards the lake,
and Reich, with his uncanny perceptiveness, immediately noted this oddity.
Later when the Oranur Experiment resulted in massive DOR clouds, the
need for a way to neuturalise the frightening effects of DOR arose. The DOR
Buster was born. Nowadays with the proliferation of devices that produce
magnetic fields and emmit radiation <computers, most appliances, TV's,
florescent lights, computer monitors> there is, no doubt, an increase in
artificially produced DOR.
Correct me if i am mistaken, but i seem to recall that the difference
between a cloudbuster and a DOR buster is that a cloudbuster has a compartment
that a small amount of radioactive material is placed in, and the DOR buster
does not. So the cloudbuster takes advantage of the irritated Orgone energy
field in order to manipulate atmospheric orgone energy pockets. Frankly,
after reading about the Oranur Experiment, I can hardly help but be concerned.
It's pretty easy to get small amounts of radioactive substances. Was it not
Reich that warned that a terrorist with a few small chargers could render
large areas barely habitable with DOR ?
The discussions here concerning cloudbusting have been interesting to
me in that they are a clear reflection of the issues of Reich's age. The
50's were a time of great concern for some in the scientific community, The
splitting of the atom unleashed a flurry of questions about the future of
mankind. It was a new discovery that was potentially lethal to the entire
planet and all the species on it. Orgone is different. It's potentially much
more dangerous. Anybody wonder if maby Orgonomy should be forgotten for a
few centuries until our species grows up a bit?
I'm cautiously optimistic and pretty enthusiastic that there is a forum
where we can discuss thease issues, and exchange information, even if some of
the methods of discussion get a little personal and extreme at times. It would
be a pity to split-up the discussion into another mailing list when there are
really just a few of us discussing Orgonomy. Every mailing list I have
personally
been on has periods of, ah, lets say unflattering behaviour. It gets frustrating
at times, and personalities do clash, but I for one feel it's necessary to
place the discussion first and my ego second or third <hey, i'm a product of
my age, i am certainly not above fits of EP> in order to facilitate discussion.
Wish i had a dime for every email i've frantically typed out in a fit
of rage, and later deleted or rewrote after I cooled down and became more
aware of my deeper and sainer intentions. Do we want to be unified in our
sharing of data and discussion of the Orgone ? To me it's more interesting
to have an occasional flurry of expressive messages than a sterile and
predictable void. The personalities involved are secondary to the
discussion, to me anyway.
Well, thanks for listening to thease little thoughts.
