I have many such quotes. One of my favorite is below
"The finding of facts does not ask whether the facts are welcome or
not, but only whether they are correct or not. For this reason, it
always comes into sharp conflict with politics which does not ask
whether a fact is correct or not, but only whether or not it serves
this or that political purpose."
>From the Mass Psychology of Facism
The more emotionally difficult and painful it is for me to deal with
a subject because of conflict with friends, pride, and other political
matters the more I know I am probably dealing with matters of fact
that I refuse to face.
