I'm not aware of much written about it, but if by any chance you've not read
Reich's early work 'Dialectical materialism and psychoanalysis' I recommend it.

Nice, Chris. very nice. I've never seen the point made so succinctly before.

I think you're right that this thread is departing from the area of the list.
How could we bring it back, though? Maybe some more folks woiuld like to put
their cards on the table and say something about *why* they are interested in
orgonomy. The core of my own interest in Reich is certainly  a political one -
notwithstanding his own later view of 'politics' as quoted recently by Dave! I
got involved with reich back in the late sixties because he was talking about
changing the world. Now I'm a lot older, a lot more scarred and cautious,
possibly a little wiser... and that';s still what I see in Reich. He's asking
important questions about would need to happen for humans to *change our
conditions of life for the better*. This involves following Kierkegaard's
suggestion:

My proposal is, therefore, surely the mildest possible. Oh, it is so weak!
My proposal is that at least we should make the true state of affairsknown.
