This is more of a "How I Got Interested In Orgonomy". I hope that's cricket.

Ever since I can remember, I've usually felt as if I didn't really "belong"
and many things people did I couldn't understand. For some reason I never
lost this feeling and I didn't want to try to come "In". I took to reading
to try to figure out why I felt this way. I chanced across WR reading a book
by a russian anarchist, I forget his name. I was able to find "Character
Analysis" which was very good but I was still reading a lot of other stuff
and it kind of got lost in the shuffle.

Some time after that several people I knew became born again christians and
wanted me to join them. I didn't, but this caused me to start studying
religions. Eventually I came across witchcraft. In a book by Paul Huson (who
wrote a terrific herbal called Mastering Herbalism BTW) called Mastering
Witchcraft that I found at a yard sale, in the bibliography, it had a
heading called Modern Developments of Witch Power. Under that heading was a
list that contained The Function of the Orgasm by Wilhelm Reich. It gave me
chills. (I have a lot of respect for the science behind Witchcraft.) I
found it and read, and all of a sudden things started to make sense. I'm
still reading Reich, and he makes more sense to me than anyone else I've
found concerning the irrationality of contemporary existence as well as most
elements of human history and what can be done about it. I also found his
later work to be not only reasonable and logical, but it paralles so many
other discoverys that I had read about. Orgone Theory also answers more
questions than any other that I've run across.
